Public Call: Join the second Study Visit of the ID: CITIZEN project in Bratislava, Slovakia!

The project “ID: CITIZEN – Addressing Accessibility Challenges”, supported by the International Visegrad Fund, invites experts from Macedonia to apply for participation in the second international study visit to Bratislava. The visit will focus on innovative practices in the field of accessibility, inclusive urban planning and cultural participation of persons with disabilities.
🧩 About the study visit
The visit will focus on exploring leading examples from Bratislava of architectural innovation and inclusive cultural programs, recognized as good practices within the EU. Participants will participate in field visits, meetings with institutions and experts, and contribute to the regional exchange of knowledge and solutions related to inclusive planning and public accessibility.
👥 Who can apply?
Two representatives from Macedonia will be elected:
- Representatives from a cultural or educational institution (e.g. museum, library, school, cultural center)
- Policymakers or local government representatives working in the areas of urban development, spatial planning or related public sectors
Candidates should:
• Be actively involved in work or policies related to accessibility
• Have a motivation to share knowledge and implement practices in their institutions/municipalities
• Have a good command of English (working language of the visit)
💼 What does the project cover?
For the selected participants, the project fully covers:
✅ International travel costs (to and from Bratislava)
✅ Local transportation during the visit
✅ Accommodation for 4 nights
✅ Daily meals during the program
✅ All necessary materials related to the visit

ID: CITIZEN – Together for Inclusion is a regional initiative led by EQUALITY NGO (North Macedonia) in partnership with the Integracja Foundation (Poland), TENENET NGO (Slovakia) and the Hand in Hand Organization (Hungary).
